Dubai’s skyline adorned by a star as commercial tower named after Shah Rukh Khan unveiled

Dubai has added a touch of Bollywood glamour to its skyline, with a new commercial tower, Shahrukhz by Danube, officially unveiled in honour of Shah Rukh Khan.

Dubai: Shah Rukh Khan, one of the world’s most influential cinema icons, expressed heartfelt gratitude after Dubai commemorated his longstanding relationship with the emirate by naming a major commercial tower after him. Developed by Danube Properties, Shahrukhz by Danube stands as a new landmark in the city, symbolising ambition, success, and the enduring impact of the actor’s global stardom.

In his statement, Khan reflected on his deep bond with Dubai, a place he often calls his “second home.” He praised the city as one that “celebrates dreams, ambition, and possibility,” adding that the honour represents how far belief and hard work can take a person.

The tower marks yet another milestone in the collaboration between Khan and Danube Properties, whose partnership has produced multiple high-profile campaigns over the years. Khan lauded the developer for sharing the same “spirit of aspiration and excellence,” noting that their association continues to grow stronger with each venture.

His connection with Dubai extends far beyond brand partnerships. As one of the UAE’s most recognisable cultural ambassadors, he has led several promotional campaigns for Dubai Tourism, showcasing the city’s energy, luxury, and cosmopolitan culture. He also owns a home on the prestigious Palm Jumeirah, further underlining his personal ties to the emirate.
