MOSCOW : Speaking at the forum, President Putin noted that the U.S. holds “significant resource potential in Alaska,” while Russia possesses advanced technologies in oil and gas development. He stressed that Moscow is open to cooperation in this field if political conditions allow.
At the same time, the Russian leader pointed to the complementary nature of the Russian and Chinese economies, highlighting that both countries share “common approaches and values” in global economic strategy.
His comments followed a state visit to China, where Russia and China signed a memorandum for a major new gas pipeline project, further solidifying the energy partnership between the two nations.
