NEW DELHI– Indian travel-tech startup Hoi has partnered with online travel agency EaseMyTrip to launch a smart rewards program that links airport dining with travel benefits, the companies said on Thursday.
The initiative, which the firms described as the first of its kind in India, is available at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and Goa’s Manohar International Airport. Passengers ordering food via Hoi’s self-service kiosks can skip queues and receive an instant ₹500 EaseMyTrip coupon sent directly to their WhatsApp. A monthly draw will also award one traveller a ₹5,000 voucher.
The program, running for three months, has already been used by more than 5,000 passengers, according to the companies. They said the effort reflects a broader strategy to make airports more efficient and engaging through integrated digital services.
“By integrating real-time rewards with contactless dining, every meal becomes an investment in the next journey,” said Dhruv Godara, deputy CEO of Hoi. EaseMyTrip co-founder Rikant Pittie said the tie-up turns routine dining into “an opportunity for value creation” before take-off.
Hoi’s broader platform also offers flight tracking, baggage updates, AI-powered passenger support and duty-free integration. EaseMyTrip, listed on India’s NSE and BSE exchanges, ranks among the country’s largest online travel platforms by air ticket bookings, according to a 2021 Crisil report.
