flydubai to introduce Starlink internet across its fleet by 2026

Dubai-based carrier flydubai has signed an agreement with SpaceX to introduce Starlink, the world’s most advanced satellite broadband system, across its Boeing 737 fleet.

DUBAI : flydubai confirmed that Starlink will become the primary in-flight connectivity provider for its rapidly expanding fleet, enabling passengers to enjoy high-speed, low-latency internet that supports HD streaming, online gaming, video calls and other real-time digital services. Installation is set to begin soon, with 100 aircraft scheduled for upgrade in 2026.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, said: “This agreement marks a major milestone in our ongoing efforts to elevate the travel experience, providing fast, reliable internet access across our growing network. Reliable connectivity has become essential and our partnership with Starlink allows us to meet the evolving expectations of today’s travellers. The partnership will enable uninterrupted, high-bandwidth connectivity across more than 100 destinations, allowing passengers to stay connected, productive and entertained from take-off to landing.
