ABU DHABI : Royal Jet, the UAE’s leading luxury private aviation operator, has announced the appointment of Mohammed Bin Mahfoodh Al Ardhi as Chairman of its Board of Directors, ushering in a new era of strategic growth and leadership for the company.

Al Ardhi, a globally recognized business leader and Executive Chairman of Investcorp, brings a wealth of experience across both military and corporate domains. Since taking the helm at Investcorp, he has overseen a dramatic expansion, driving assets under management from US $10 billion to US $60 billion and strengthening the firm’s international presence.

In addition to his role at Investcorp, Al Ardhi serves as Chairman of the Muscat Stock Exchange and heads the Board of Trustees at the College of Banking and Financial Studies in Muscat.

A decorated military officer, he was the youngest and longest-serving Chief of the Royal Air Force of Oman, where he led significant modernization efforts. His service was honored with the Order of Oman, awarded by the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said in 2000.

Al Ardhi’s academic achievements include a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, a B.Sc. in Military Science from the UK’s Royal Air Force Staff College in Bracknell, and training at the RAF Military Academy Cranwell and the National Defence University in Washington, D.C.

At Royal Jet, he will chair a distinguished Board that includes H.E. Hisham Khalid Towfiq Abdulkhaliq Malak, H.E. Sameera Murshed Al Romaithi, Ahmed Mohamed Darweesh Binkaram Al Qubaisi, and Mohamed Saeed Al Remeithi.
