Oman oil output ticks up as prices slide

Oil production in Oman edged higher by the end of November 2025, even as average crude prices recorded a notable decline.

Muscat: The latest figures show that Oman’s oil production rose by 0.4 per cent year-on-year to approximately 333.94 million barrels by the end of November 2025, compared to 332.69 million barrels during the same period in 2024. Average daily production also increased, reaching 999,800 barrels per day, up from 993,100 barrels per day recorded a year earlier.

Despite the rise in output, oil prices moved in the opposite direction. The average price of Omani crude stood at around US$71.6 per barrel by the end of November 2025, marking a 12.4 per cent decline compared to US$81.8 per barrel during the corresponding period last year.

Export volumes remained largely stable. Total oil exports rose marginally by 0.1 per cent to 282.34 million barrels by the end of November 2025, compared to 282.19 million barrels exported during the same period in 2024.
