DUBAI : Yuvraj Narayan is the Group Chief Executive Officer of DP World, one of the world’s largest port and logistics operators, overseeing a business that spans 79 countries and handles around 10% of global container trade.
Narayan, who joined DP World in 2004 and became Group Chief Financial Officer in 2005, played a central role in transforming the Dubai-based company from a regional port operator into an integrated end-to-end global supply chain solutions provider. He has led a series of strategic and transformational initiatives aimed at strengthening financial resilience, expanding international operations and enhancing operational efficiency.
Under his leadership, DP World has grown to encompass more than 430 business units and employs over 115,000 people worldwide. The company has broadened its footprint beyond port terminals into logistics, supply chain management and intelligent trade solutions, positioning itself as a key player in global commerce.
Narayan brings extensive experience in ports and international banking. Before joining DP World, he held senior executive roles at ANZ Group, serving as Head of Corporate and Project Finance for South Asia, and was Chief Financial Officer at Salalah Port Services in Oman.
A qualified Chartered Accountant, Narayan has been recognised multiple times as the Middle East and North Africa CFO of the Year. During his tenure as finance chief, DP World’s finance division was awarded Finance Team of the Year in 2015.
In addition to his executive role, Narayan serves on the boards of HDFC International Life and Re Company Limited and the Dubai Financial Market.
As CEO, he is focused on driving sustainable growth and advancing intelligent logistics solutions aimed at strengthening global supply chains and supporting trade flows worldwide.
