Dubai: The UAE has ranked first globally in the growth of artificial intelligence talent concentration, outperforming major economies and reinforcing its position as a leading destination for innovation and advanced technology.
The data, shared by Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, showed that the UAE recorded a 121 per cent rise in AI talent concentration among LinkedIn members over the six-year period from 2019 to 2025.
In a post on X, Sheikh Saif highlighted that the achievement reflects more than technological progress. He stated that the milestone is the result of a leadership vision focused on human development, attracting global talent, and building the future through innovation.
The report placed India in second position with a 120 per cent increase in AI talent concentration, followed by Saudi Arabia at 113 per cent. Cyprus ranked fourth with 112 per cent growth, while Portugal secured fifth place with 111 per cent.
Other countries featured among the fastest-growing destinations for AI talent included Indonesia (108 per cent), Brazil (107 per cent), Iceland (93 per cent), Uruguay (90 per cent), and Denmark (89 per cent).
