Linkin Park to rock India for the first time at Lollapalooza 2026

American rock giants Linkin Park have officially announced their debut performance in India, headlining Lollapalooza India 2026 at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse on January 25.

MUMBAI : The announcement, made in a personal newsletter to fans rather than a press conference, immediately set social media buzzing. The newsletter also carried the official festival poster, building excitement ahead of ticket sales, which open on August 28 via lollaindia.com and BookMyShow.

The Mumbai performance will form part of the band’s ongoing From Zero World Tour, following the release of their 2024 comeback album From Zero, their first major project since the passing of lead vocalist Chester Bennington in 2017. The new era of Linkin Park introduced fresh talent to the lineup, including vocalist Emily Armstrong, drummer Colin Brittain, and guitarist Alex Federer, alongside original members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Joe Hahn, Rob Bourdon, and Dave ‘Phoenix’ Farrell.

Known for shaping a generation’s love for rock with anthems that blended nu-metal, rap, and electronica, Linkin Park now joins the growing list of global icons who have headlined Lollapalooza India. Past editions have hosted artists like Sting, Green Day, Imagine Dragons, Jonas Brothers, and Shawn Mendes.
